We had an amazing stay at Cottage At Barrow Mead! the location was excellent, with stunning scenery and a peaceful atmosphere that made us feel like we were far away from civilization. the cottage itself was lovely, with spacious rooms, a fully equipped kitchen , and a cozy lounge area with a log burner. the beds were incredibly comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. the owners were attentive and friendly, and we were warmly welcomed with a fresh goody basket. We would definitely come back and stay again!

The location of this cottage is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views over open countryside. the fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher was a major advantage, making our stay very convenient. the beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for all.
The creaky upstairs floor could be a bit problematic, especially if you have light sleepers in your group.

Well-fitted 2-bedroom cottage with scenic surroundings. Narrow stairs but likely intentional for upstairs bathroom. Quiet despite proximity to busy road. Convenient access to dining and grocery options. Thoughtful welcome basket. Adequate for long-term travelers with washing machine.
